Patient Portal
1. Visit NovantMyChart.org.
2. Select “Sign up.”
3. Follow the prompts to verify your information.
4. Create your username and password.
5. Log in and turn on notifications.
MyChart is an application you can download from the Apple Store or Google Play Store that allows you to access your previous health records, upcoming appointment information, test results, billing and payments for appointments as of August 24, 2026, and more!
As of August 24, 2026, we’ve moved away from the Patient Portal and Healow App as a result of our partnership with Novant Health. However, we are excited to share that our patients can access their health information on MyChart!
If you already have MyChart, you can easily add Novant Health to your existing account by following the steps below! For more information, visit our the MyChart page on our website.
1. Open the MyChart app.
2. Tap the three-dot menu in the upper right corner.
3. Select Edit Organization.
4. Add Organization.
5. Search for Novant Health.
6. Select it to link your account.
As soon as your lab results are available, if you are signed up for Novant Health MyChart, you will receive a notification. To view your results, log in to your Novant Health MyChart account and click “Test Results.”
About My Care
The average turnaround time for medication and imaging prior autorization is two weeks.
X-Ray results have a turnaround time of 24-48 hours.
Lab results have a turn around time of 5-7 business days.
Labs are posted to MyChart as they are resulted.
You will receive instructions from your Provider through MyChart within 5-7 business days, or you will be contacted by phone for anything urgent after they have received and reviewed your lab results.
Billing & Insurance
Every insurance plan is unique. We recommend contacting your insurance carrier to discuss covered services.
If you come to Brio for a preventive visit (or physical) and discussed additional concerns with your Provider, they are required to bill a code for an office visit to address the problems or concerns. Your copay will be put towards the bill for the office visit portion of your visit.
While we draw and conduct labs in our office, we are required to send certain tests to Labcorp, a third party lab service.
We offer a Self Pay discount at Brio Primary Care. A Good Faith Estimate is provided prior to the appointment so you are able to bring funds to pay at the time of service.
While you are responsible for the cost of your care, your doctor's office will make every effort to seek payment from your health insurance company for the amount owed under your policy. In order to facilitate this, it is important that you provide Brio Primary Care with the most updated and accurate information possible.
Following your appointment, you will receive a text and/or email with your statement and instructions on how to pay. If you are signed up for MyChart, you will also receive a notification in the app when your statement is ready.
For dates of service on or after August 24, 2026 you can pay through MyChart by clicking on "Bills from Novant Health" or by calling 844.642.4699.
For dates of service prior to August 24,2026, please call our previous billing partner, The Onyx Group, at 864.720.1400.
